Tempest were a British progressive rock band formed by Jon Hiseman and Mark Clarke who had been the drummer and bassist of Colosseum. Hiseman and Clarke were the only two members on both albums. Allan Holdsworth was the guitarist on the first album. The band was unable to achieve commercial success and disbanded after only two albums.
