"SpunkY mUnkY is an award winning band that originates from Sugar Land, TX. Most notable awards received include back-to-back 1st place awards in Galveston's annual Battle of the Bands contest in 2003 and 2004. SpunkY mUnkY was also 2nd place in the Houston Space City Rock 2002 concert.

SpunkY mUnkY is the creator and also a strong supporter of the non-profit advocacy organization "Fight Hunger in the U.S." Please look up the group on facebook. We are trying to get as many supporters as possible. The group was created to inform others of the growing poverty levels in the United States.
