Slechtvalk

Slechtvalk, from Holland, play an epic style of unblack metal including choirs, deep clean vocals and acoustic guitars. Listening to Slechtvalk is like witnessing the two greatest generals in history fight for glory, in a dark, shadowy forest. You'd have to pay attention to figure out that this band is Christian.Slechtvalk's debut album "Falconry" was written entirely by frontman Shamgar, and takes a more distinctly religious stance. As the band grew in size, the theme slowly evolved towards what it is today on "At the Dawn of War": a continuous fight between good and evil, hidden beneath the shell of a sound close in kinship to Viking metal. "At the Dawn of War" is a profound statement for the artistic value of black metal.
