Sinister is a death metal band from the Netherlands, assembled in 1988 and disbanded in 2004. They have currently reformed in 2005, with Aad on vocals and Bas van den Bogaard on bass guitar. They have released 8 albums consistently in the death metal genre.Their style is a more groovy version of early nienties US death metal, and unlike some other dutch bands does not show a lot swedish influences. They kept on playing this old school style for all their albums.
