Riotgod ( V1 ) began as a simple name for a project engaged by vocalist/songwriter Sunshine back in 1998.
Riotgod ( V2 ) began when Monster Magnet's Bob Pantella and Jim Baglino, recruited Garrett Sweeny on guitar and finally Sunshine on vocals for a newly created band in 2007. The nameless band adopted the Riotgod name shortly after officially forming.

Riotgod ( V1 ) began as a simple name for a project engaged by vocalist/songwriter Sunshine back in 1998.
Riotgod ( V2 ) began when Monster Magnet's Bob Pantella and Jim Baglino, recruited Garrett Sweeny on guitar and finally Sunshine on vocals for a newly created band in 2007. The nameless band adopted the Riotgod name shortly after officially forming.
RG V2 would do some touring of the US, Canada, playing gigs with The Atomic Bitchwax, Supersuckers, The Parlor Mob and others. RG V2 also had a mini-tour of Europe, the highlight of which was the Baroeg Open Air Festival 2010, sharing the event with the likes of Entombed, Sodom and others. RGV2 released 2 CDs, Riotgod and Invisible Empire on the Metalville label out of Germany.
Riotgod ( V3 ) began when the bassist became Erik Boe in 2011. RG V3 would do a US mini-tour and most notably visit Europe twice in 2012, first with Astral Doors and in the summer rocking Wacken Open Air, a kick-ass gig in Berlin with Electric Wizard, and after criss-crossing Europe arriving finally at the Saupfitz Open Air in Austria. RGV3 released 1 CD in 2013, Drivenâ– Rise also via the Metalville label.
Riotgod ( V4 ) began when Bob Pantella and Garrett Sweeny ( Monster Magnet ) left Riotgod to pursue their own musical paths. Erik Boe switched from bass to guitar and in October of 2014 2 new members will be announced officially. « hide |
