Pokermask wanted to have original music composed for it. With months of improvisations and testing musical ideas, the eventual soundtrack
album Mask of Creation: Full Score was released on January 10th of 2015.
During the recordings of the score, Pokermask became inspired to make new music for his eventual first studio album. This became the
starting point for the recording of Let There Be Music which in difference to the musical direction of "Mask of Creation", was more based on
House and Electronic Dance Music.
But the inspiration to write new material didn't stop there and instead, Pokermask took this as an opportunity to try experimenting and record
music that would be outside the mainstream-appeal. From the Edge of the Horizon became the third overall album to be released under the
Pokermask name. Once again, the album showcased a change in musical direction, as the material was more Ambient, slow-paced and
Experimental.
In November 2015, Pokermask started writing material for what was eventually going to be the final studio album under the Pokermask
name. This time, the music was presented to be a mixture of styles, from the EDM-based tracks to the more Progressive and experimental
tracks. Finally on June 17th 2016, the album, IV was released.
The Pokermask discography officially came to a close with the compilation album Epitaph on December 12th, 2016.
Pokermask's musical work would eventually continue on, as he pursued his next project, titled Nemesis. « hide |
