Formed in Chicago in 2022 by veterans of the local indie scene, Plum is a post-punk trio comprising bassist/vocalist Heather Perry, guitarist/vocalist Jeff Kelley, and drummer Eric Ridder. Their sound is a jagged, infectious blend of new wave, no wave, krautrock, and indie sleaze, anchored by intricate, interlocking rhythms. Following their 2024 debut album, Can't Hold On to It, and notable live performances alongside acts like Jack White, the band expanded their reach with a ten-date Japan tour. They released their second full-length album, Bodies in Motion in 2026.
