Overcast were one of the pioneering bands of the metalcore genre in the 90's. From their beginnings with the 1992 EP Bleed Into One all the way until 1997's Fight Ambition To Kill the boys brought an energetic blast of crunching heavy metal and aggressive hardcore punk. The band had reunited in 2008 to record a new full-length, "Reborn to Kill Again". The band is known for featuring Brian Fair (who would go on to become the singer in Shadows Fall) and Mike D'Antonio (who subsequently formed Killswitch Engage following the disbanding of Overcast).
