Over it is a pop-punk band that formed in 1998 in Alexandria, Virginia. During their career, they relocated to Orange County, California. They were signed to Lobster records in 2002 and released their second and third albums Timing is Everything and Silverstrand on the label. They received some attention from major label Virgin, and released Step Outside Yourself in 2006. Step Outside Yourself featured the lead song from Silverstrand, "Sirens on the 101". Despite releasing Step Outside Yourself on Virgin, Over it failed to gain a mainstream following, and broke up in 2008.
