ORPHAN is a mathy, metallic hardcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While originally conceived in 2016, the band’s current iteration began in 2022, setting out to incorporate a diverse set of influences into their increasingly challenging music.
Pulling in the best parts of hardcore, metal, grind, and noise rock and infusing them with jazz, fusion, prog, and occasionally some twang, ORPHAN leverages the tastes of each member in a mission to build complex, well-crafted songs that together form a unique, captivating musical voice.
