With the songs sitting idle and Dean finding some downtime, he reconnected with Shoulder in 2024 and soon the project was shifted towards a collaborative one. The name was inspired by a line in 'The Counterfeit Sky', a song by Failure on the The Heart is a Monster album. It hosts a number of drummer guests such as DeLeo's former bandmate Eric Kretz from STP (on 'Serenade'), his son Rocco (on 'Drowning Out The Sun', 'Willow Mae' and 'Spit It Out') and Brian Tichy (ex-Whitesnake, Billy Idol) while British singer/songwriter Pete Shoulder lays down the vocals.
