Mutiny in March, a hardcore band from Gurgaon, India was formed in April 2011. With former members Shoumitro Roy (guitars) and Reemo Banerjee (drums) who also happened to be childhood friends, sharing ideas about a band for well over a year, jamming and working on songs and playing styles, the band started off on a pretty decent note accompanied later on with Jatin Chhabra (bass), Aviral Prakash (vocals) and Tushar Saxena (guitars) completing the lineup. Their influences range from bands like Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, For The Fallen Dreams and Hatebreed to bands like Meshuggah, Gojira, Textures and Tesseract. This also made them fall in love with low tuned guitars, because of which the band has found its own sound. The band has come out with 3 singles, Insidious, Into The Void and Without The Second. With a different music style and a whole new view on music compared to the other bands, the band has attracted quite a lot of attention and a decent fan following over the few gigs that they have played so far. The band believes in making music that is original, raw and full of emotion. All the members being in their late teens, their musical tastes and interests keep on evolving and so does the music that they create, all the while keeping their songs heavy. Their goal would be to make music that they themselves enjoy, as well as the people outside the band can enjoy. « hide
