Messenger is a musical troupe from London formed in the spring of 2012 by Khaled Lowe and Barnaby Maddick.They describetheir debut Illusory Blues, released March 2014 as "a cosmic ode to the forces of nature and theinevitable cycle of life." Their music dwells equally in the earthly sounds of folk music and spacey sounds of progressivepsychedelia, softly spokenguitar lines addled with toots of flute and eerie swoops of strings, create "an atmosphere of illusionand fantasy."
