Medine Zaouiche (stage name Medine - with an acute e) is a French rapper of Algerian descent according to Wikipedia.He is part of the hip-hop collective La Boussole and DIN records since 1996. A practising Muslim, many of his lyrics deal with the hardships faced by people with low economic level, migrants, oppressed individuals, and Muslims in the Western world. Medine is a translation of Medina, the city known as the burial place of the Prophet Muhammad in western Saudi Arabia.
