Matthew Good Band

Starting out in 1995 with their quirkily titled Last of the Ghetto Astronauts, Matthew Good Band came seemingly out of nowhere. After it gained surprising success, the band released many albums after and soon gained a huge amount of mainstream success in Canada. The main musical force throughout had always been Matthew Good and his original voice and brilliant lyrics. His terrific song writing and a knack to write hits helped the band gain such mainstream success until the band disbanded in 2001. After, Matthew Good released 3 solo albums and 1 Greatist hits album and returned recently with the more intimate Hospital Music.
