Composer of electronic, electroacoustic and acousmatic music, born in 1972 in Leamington, England. He first came to
international attention in 1995 with two works: Melt and Clothed in the Soft Horizon which were awarded the Stockholm
Electronic Arts Award, Prix de Residence at Bourges and the Grand Prix of Musica Nova Prague.
Member of the Birmingham Electroacoustic Sound Theatre from 1993-1995 and director of the Sonic Arts Network of Great

He has since been awarded prizes at the Bourges International Competition in 1997, 1999 and 2001; Luigi Russolo Competition
in 1994, 2000 and 2001 as well as at EAR'95, and Musica Nova 1996. He has worked in a number of prestigious European
studios, including EMS in Stockholm, the GRM and IRCAM in Paris. Césare in Reims, and the Heinrich Strobel Studio in Freiburg.
In the early 90s he concentrated predominantly on acousmatic music but has since diversified into composing for contemporary
dance, multimedia works, interactive installations and electroacoustic music. « hide |
