Grigoriy Korneev was the vocalist for a few weeks, before permanent singer Mikhail Seryshev was found. The self-titled album was released in 1988, and concerts were held in the USSR and also in Poland. The second album, С Петлей на Шее was released in 1989. The band played at the USSR concert "Monsters of Rock", in Cherepovets later that year. From 1989-1991, the band was in Belgium, recording an album that was to be called Empire of Evil, which later was renamed Talk of the Devil and released in 1992. It was the first of two English-language albums for the band. There are many, many lineup changes, including four drummers that appear on this album. The Maniac Party album appears in 1994, with the lineup of Mikhail Seryshev (vocals), Vyacheslav Sidorov (guitars), Alex Granovsky (bass), and Anatoly Senderov (drums). Sidorov leaves, and Sergei Popov returns and a live album is recorded, and then a new Russian-language album, Песни Мёртвых.At this point Seryshev leaves, and a new vocalist, Artur Berkut (from Autograph, later to appear in Aria) is found. He lasts for a bit before Seryshev returns, before leaving again through the recording sessions for Лабиринт. New vocalist Lexx comes in, and other lineup changes include new guitarist Leonid Fomin and drummer Oleg Milovanov.Leonid Fomin is replaced by Alexei Straik in February, 2001, and Alexander Karpuhin comes in on drums in 2002. « hide
