Mane is the music and sounds of Matt Beattie, operating out of Leeds (UK). Mane produces music of a contradictory nature, spanning pop and free noise and
everything in between. In February of 2012, the first Mane LP was released, a 50-minute drone piece inspired by the winds of Tarifa, on the south coast of
Spain, that has been known to cause insanity and even suicide in the people that live there. Mane is inspired by acts such as Lightning Bolt, [L]The
Flaming Lips[/L] and Oneida.
