M. B. Morris is a guitarist and songwriter from Romania. M. B. Morris, the musician, is hiding in everyday life under the
appearance of an absolutely ordinary man with the name under which he was born:Marius Balasoiu. He learned to play the guitar
accidentally: Grandma bought a guitar to his brother Johnny B. (Ionut Balasoiu - vocal and guitar of band Trupa Six) who had no
one to teach him, and M. B. Morris learned from a friend of his to play guitar , so he could teach his brother - and so M. B. Morris

remained eternal (he hopes)with the pleasure of playing guitar.In 1994, along with his friend Izzy Waan and several other
friends, they set up the avantgarde progressive rock, experimental band Grand Misfoolish Boardmachine (where, besides
classical rock instruments, tools were used for music forestry and construction tools: hand saw, drillmachines, ...) . Grand
Misfoolish Boardmachine recorded in 1994 the album with the same name, and in 1996 an album called "A New
Machine".Between 1996-1998, together with Izzy Waan, M.B. Morris created the band Shadowy Creaks, line-up in which they
recorded some classic rock songs.In 1998 M. B. Morris, with the help of Adrian Sardi (voice, keyboards) - former member of
Seven band, current member of Space Truckers band, Ringo Warwick (bass) and Johnny B. - voice, recorded an album " M. B.
Morris Band ".In 2000, along with Izzy Waan, (Ringo Warvick joined the band later), formed the band Arrakis and recorded the
album "Arrakis".In 2002 Arrakis also recorded an EP, "The Ocean".2003 brought M. B. Morris in the studio again, where, with
Adrian Sardi's help – on vocals and and bass guitar, he recorded an EP.2007 was the year when M. B. Morris, Izzy Waan and
Ringo Warwick recorded under the name of Today , album “Today”, approaching the blues-rock genre.In 2012 M.B. Morris and
Izzy Waan reunited under the name Arrakis and recorded the album "Riding the Sandworm".At the insistence of his friend Izzy
Waan and his brother Johnny B., M. B. Morris decided to record and finally release a solo album.The album "Reborn", M. B.
Morris's first solo album, was released on October 18, 2017. The album was recorded at Izzy Waan's studio ,Second Harmonic ,
also recording label . M. B. Morris was helped on this recording session by Johnny B. with vocals on tracks 1, 3, 6 and 7, and by
Izzy Waan, vocal on track 5, bass, keyboards, drums programming, mixing and mastering. « hide |
