Lyraka is a heavy metal opera composed by Andy DiGelsomina. The opera features vocal performances by Graham Bonnet, Tommy Heart, Veronica Freeman, and also involves Jeff Pilson, Andre Maquera, Gary Spaulding, and Tim Luce.
The Lyraka music is inspired by the bands Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Michael Schenker Group, and also by the composer Richard Wagner. The CD features art by renowned fantasy artist, Ken Kelly (Rainbow Rising, Kiss Destroyer).
