Louis-Jean Cormier is a singer-songwriter from Quebec, mostly known for his work as the guitarist and frontman from indie rock band Karkwa.
In 2012, however, Cormier started his solo career in a simpler and stripped down style, releasing his first album under his name, Le Treizieme
Etage, in 2012. Cormier has won 4 Felix Awards for his album, and was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize.
