He convinced her to move to Los Angeles, California, where she was paired with record producer Humberto Gatica's wife, Beverly. Dissatisfied with the work she had produced with Gatica, Turner moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2012. She was signed to Columbia Records Nashville in July 2013. She made her debut on October 7 with "Take the Keys", a single she wrote with Cary Barlowe and Jesse Frasure; they also co-produced it with Jim Catino. It debuted at number 60 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart dated for the week ending October 19, 2013. Matt Bjorke of Roughstock rated the single 4.5 stars out of 5, saying that "The vocals power through the speakers, backed by a rollicking, tempo-filled mandolin lead melody and they make you stop and pay attention." « hide
