Kryptik is a horrorcore duo made up of Komatose and Rukus formed in 1999 known for their creative sampling, disturbing storytelling, and the distinctive voices of the two performers. Komatose and Rukus, who were previously in the group Asylum together before splitting off to form Kryptik, now primarily focus on their solo careers but still occasionally release music together. The group was signed at one point to the influential horrorcore label Serial Killin Records but their music has been primarily released by Cutthroat Productions, a label owned by Komatose.
