The band consists of Karen Luan, Chris Ryan and Paul-Luc Gifford.
Karen met Chris and they formed a band based on their collective love of stuff and things. They had

In Summer 2006, they made their first festival appearance at Truck festival, Oxford, narrowly
avoiding electrocution by lightening. Back in London word of the band was spreading and they were
sharing stages with bigger names on the circuit, headlining Visible Noise's Subverse club in London
and guesting at the legendary 'Rock' club at the Mean Fiddler.
In July 2006 they started recording their debut album, a feat that took them to no less than three
different studios (and a lounge) over 8 long months under the patient guidance of Rob Haggett from
top production combo/band, The Slips.
The album, 'I've been to London to see the Queen' hit the shelves to rave reviews in September
2007 via Nothing Stays Golden. Tracks from the album got played on Kerrang, Radio One, and XFM
and the accompanying 'Stolen Eyes' video debuted online in Youtube's top 100 played artists.
In August 2007 Paul-luc, who also loved stuff and things, joined the band. They have toured up and
down the UK, picked up full page features in Kerrang!, Rocksound and Big Cheese magazine. « hide |
