Jebediah are an Australian alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 1994. The band comprises vocalist and guitarist Kevin Mitchell, guitarist Chris Daymond, bassist Vanessa Thornton and drummer Brett Mitchell.
The band released four studio albums from 1997–2004, three of which (Slightly Odway, Of Someday Shambles & Jebediah) entered the top ten of the ARIA Albums chart. The band were then on hiatus as leadman Kevin Mitchell undertook solo work with the pseudonym Bob Evans, as well as an album with supergroup the Basement Birds. The band reconvened officially in 2010, with the release of the band's fifth studio album, Kosciuszko, which also made the top ten of the ARIA Albums chart.
