J Church was formed by Lance Hahn in 1992, their lead guitarist, singer, and main creative influence. This band's legacy lives on through tons of material hardly documented appropriately. Lance passed away in 2007, and with his passing, J Church could no longer exist. While he was alive, J Church maintained a casual superiority over many punk bands with their focused attitude toward making good music and grassroots approach with the punk scene.
