Gorerotted were a deathgrind band from the UK. They were signed to Metal Blade Records and released three studio albums. They changed their name to The Rotted in 2008. This change was due to the bands option to change the style and content of their music. They moved to a stripped down Death metal sound from their goregrind/brutal death sound.
