The year 1989 became a breakthrough for the three brothers Miko (17) Maroš (25) and Dušan Hladký (21) and their common friend Georgia
Babulica (15) when they established a successful Slovak band GLADIATOR. In 1991 they received their first offer for the debut album from

The year 1989 became a breakthrough for the three brothers Miko (17) Maroš (25) and Dušan Hladký (21) and their common friend Georgia
Babulica (15) when they established a successful Slovak band GLADIATOR. In 1991 they received their first offer for the debut album from
the Czech company ZERAS.
Gladiator - as the first band from Slovakia, presented their first album "DESIGNATION" on the song "Profitable losses" at the
prestigious MTV music station. The album and the clip have been very successful, and various offers from abroad have accumulated. After a
successful debut, the boys did not stop and record in 1993 their second album in the trash metal style "MADE OF PAIN", which was taken over
by the Slovak publishing company ŠKVRNA records. The most successful song was My World, appearing on the sides of successful charts
alongside commercial performers, which is very demanding for bands of this style. The video was presented at the MTV and German VIVA
stations.
Although the previous two albums were very successful, the band made a rough line and started a new style. On the third album "THIRD EYE"
we can not find tracks in the trash metal style, but in rock style. This change took place in 1994 and the boys explained it as follows: "we
have accumulated melodic ideas and we have no longer musically moved to the trash." Miko added: "Besides, we have completely got the
growing GRUNGE world wave". Chalani Gladiatoru had great concerns as their new style of receiving fans, but also the third album had an
excellent response and the band received offers for foreign concerts in Germany and France. The song "In your head" became the biggest hit
in Slovakia. The band left one of the brothers Dušan Hladký and a new member of the guitarist Rasťo Krčmárik joined the band. 1994 was the
year of the biggest changes for the band and the new history of the Gladiator group began to be written.
Two years later, the band recorded their fourth album "DOGSTIME". They try to settle in torn waters and start looking for their
musical face. The album was very successful, bringing nominations for the Grand Prix Slovesko 1997, which is the equivalent of the Grammy,
in which the boys were nominated in five categories. They won the award for a 1996 video of Sweet litte mouse, director Karol Vosat and the
sound of the year 1996 by musician Jan Došek. The band did not stop for a moment and is touring Germany, but also Slovakia and the Czech
Republic. Rasťo Krčmárik leaves the band and replaced by new guitarist Rasťo Toman.
Gladiator puts a big burden on his fourth album, because he has a big responsibility to the fans. Their base has begun to grow, and
the first questions from the fans have come, as well as criticism when some Slovaks come. There is another album "LEGAL DRUG" in stores,
which records great progress in the composition and instrumental area of the band. There is a coverwheel from THE DOORS on the track
Touch me, but we find his first Slovak song with the Slovak name. Which became the song of the year 1997, which was a great success for
Gladiator. In addition to this award, they also won the Video of the Year Award, the Slovak song, directed by Karol Vosátko, as well as the
SOZA 1997 Award for this song. After this significant success, the boys began to think about the whole album from Slovak songs. And so it
happened ......
In 1998 came the long-awaited album full of Slovak "VIEM, KDE BOH SPI" The album started the new Slovak era. We basically felt
that we were standing on a brand-new start line ... "- says Georgio, the authors of the songs Miko Hladký and Georgio Babulic have tried for
the first time what the Slovakian lyrics are written in. It has been successful. This album was not at all modest to hits: Wild Rain, Once In The
Streets, The Heavenly Line, The Album Grammy has been nominated again for four categories, this year Gladiator was presented at the EXPO
1998 in Lisbon, Portugal where Gladiator performed alongside such musical artists as SUEDE, STEVE VAI, IGGY POP and played 2 concerts.
The second album, called "BABYLON HOTEL", was released by Gladiator in the 2000 year of the year. Albu was the most successful of
all the albums, bringing the nominations in the AUREL anchete. Nominated for the album of the year, the song of the year Love and the video
of the year of the Medjugorje Piano and the Slávik anka, the boys got the Radioslavicka 2000 for the song Love. The success of the album
was confirmed by a golden plate and a successful concert tour in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Concert and studio's most exciting for the
band was 2002. They ended up touring the Babylon Hotel and decided to release their first hit list in co-operation with BMG. This collection
has been mapping the period since 1994 with the title "SINGLE 1994-2002". There is one big hit on this album. We put a line in the palm of
our hand. This year Gladiator changes its publishing company from BMG going under the UNIVERSAL label. Where he releases a new studio
album "CREPY" at the end of the year. The album is very socially tuned for what the call ia aj songs Rebellion, deaf, dumb, blind, or
imprisoned in tears. And this album also brings the Golden Plate. For the first time, they decided to collaborate externally with other Palom
Bandler. The year 2003 became something special for Mika, he decided to record his first solo album with which, of course, came rumors
about the breakup of the band. What was not true. This album titled "DYNAMAX" was close-personal. And it was based on Mike and Bandler's
collaboration. to the question of whether Miko is going to solo two: "I'm glad to have uploaded this album, there are songs I love very much,
but I do not intend to do so with any specific date yet." After a two-year a break comes from the new album "Journey to Neba." The album
started a successful single I can not breathe, it brings another golden plate and Gladiator opens on a tour with No Name and after the tour

Slavik anchete.At the autumn preparations for the album are signed, the contract is signed again with SONY & BMG since the beginning of
