Emily Brown is an independent singer-songwriter and recording artist. A native of Southern California, Brown has captured
audiences worldwide with her versatile voice, intelligent songwriting, and charismatic personality.
Brown's career took off in 2009 when she moved to Provo, Utah, home of Joshua James, Neon Trees, and Fictionist. There, she

she released her first solo album, This Goes With Us. It was released as a compilation of songs Brown wrote from the ages of
15-18 and was hailed by followers and reviews for its raw production, profound, simplistic lyrics, and riveting melodies.
In Fall 2011, Emily Brown moved to London for three months to study English and Art under the direction of professors John
Bennion and Peter Everett. Much of the material for her album, Green Things, was further developed or written in her London
apartment building. Green Things was released July 7th, 2012. « hide |
