Ed Hall were a noise rock band from Austin, Texas. They released a total of five albums throughout their existence. A sixth album, titled Permission to Rock... Denied was completed in 1996, but it was shelved because the band broke up. It was finally officially released on Forbidden Place Records in 2020 with a slightly altered tracklist. The band's original drummer, Kevin Whitley, formed the band Cherubs after he left the group in 1992.
