A technical black metal band from Norway. Originally playing more straightforward black metal with a Christian edge, the"Anamorphosis" EP took their music in a new direction, fully realized on "Welterwerk". Drottnar succeeds in building a bizarre, bunker-like atmosphere through their unpredictable, dissonant, and technicallychallenging music. Czech speaking vocals, megaphones, other processed vocals, and angular guitar riffing borrowing from manydifferent metallic genres create an ever- changing mood that sounds like the march of soldiers from a bunker: chaotic, yetmeticulously ordered. Their live shows feed off this gimmick to become a completely original act: the five-piece dress in Soviet-style uniforms, projectstrobe lights across the stage, and vocalist Sven-Erik Lind howls and shouts through a megaphone. From the underground tothe world, Bunker Metal is ready to unite all Comrades together. « hide
