Drake Bell's career started with acting at an early age on shows like Home Improvement, and eventually led to roles in movies such as Jerry Maguire and High Fidelity. He learned how to play guitar from Roger Daltrey while they were in a movie together. When he starred in his own television show, Drake & Josh, on Nickelodeon a few years later, Bell's guitar playing, songwriting and singing were often showcased.
