In this world full of noise are we still able to hear ourselves? The Distant Landscape project is born from the brainchild of Marco
Spiridigliozzi, to express, with total honesty, feelings that until now were hidden.

In this world full of noise are we still able to hear ourselves? The Distant Landscape project is born from the brainchild of Marco
Spiridigliozzi, to express, with total honesty, feelings that until now were hidden.
Insights, first album of the band, is a self-analysis sequences, a continuous introspection made by melodies and words, passing
from dark, hopeful, melancholic and dreamy atmospheres to bright moments that still have a thin line of nostalgia.
Distant Landscape proposes a post-rock metal characterized by themes in continuous evolution, but also by radical atmosphere
changes that pretty often are present in the same song. Unlike the other works released by Marco Spiridigliozzi with different
bands, this album- in addition of being written, composed and performed entirely by him - is the result of careful, stylistic and
musical researches.
Every single riff, theme, atmosphere and melody has been choosen to track real emotional landscapes. Insights is an intimate
album. It was born to be a private work, but as long as it took a particular shape, the artist decided to publish it. In all the songs
guitars predominate, with a wide range of sounds, while for the voices, the author has founded a modern and clean conception.
To enrich the work the artist uses the voice of Francesca Giuditta, member with Marco Spiridigliozzi of the dreaming gothic doom
metal band Raving Season. All Insights Album’s instruments are recorded by Spiridigliozzi, except for the drum parts, edited by
Andrea Biondi. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Federico Colantoni at Side Recording Studio in Rome.
