Style:Death I Am started out as a fairly simple death metal band with a lot of melodeath influences such as In Flames but from there on out evolved into something more different. The band went for a faster style of playing with complex guitar and drumplay adding in some more progressive elements as well as some deathcore elements making their style of playing a bit similar to the later Job for a Cowboy records and other bands in that genre.Bio:The band was formed in 2007 by guitarist Shogo Tsuruda and vocalist Jacob Wilcox when Shogo was studying abroad.The same year the band recorded two demos titled "Nascence" and "Providence" together with bassist Yusuki Ito, guitarist Yasushiro Goto and drummer Daishi Matsukura.Yasushiro Goto leaves the band in January 2009 and the band looks for a new guitar player. New guitarist Tomohiko Yoshida joins the band the following year.The band records their first full length album titled "Nebula" which is released 29th of April 2010 followed by two music videos for tracks "Entheogen" and "Subatomic Shower".In 2011 the guitarist Tomohiko Yoshida and drummer Daishi Matsukura leave the band, new drummer Yuuto Sugano joins the band.
