Court Order is a brutal metal/hardcore band that formed in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY in the Summer of 2017. While the group started rehearsing earlier with various lineups in 2016, Court Order didn't start performing live until the fall of 2018. The group has consisted of various members, with Ace being the group's only original, founding member, who remains a key contributor to all songwriting and is the primary lyricist in the band. Court Order released a few singles in 2019, and collapsed them all into a cohesive EP titled "Infinite Decay" on Promises Kept Collective in January 2020. The release featured a variety of lineups, most notably three different lead vocalists. Later that year, the band released their long awaited self-titled EP, four years into the making, which featured their breakout single "Poor Excuse." After a year off the road, the band released "Split Between A Dream And A Failure" on Bloodblast Distribution, and after being disappointed with the distros efforts, self-released their follow-up full length "Kingdom Gone" in August of 2022. More lineup changes continued, until the band dropped a series of singles and their follow up "Twilight Patrol" which premiered Ace as lead vocals while the band continued to work on new content with their current frontman, Brendan Martinez. « hide |
