Clearlake is a Brighton-based Britpop band that was formed in 2000. They released Lido in 2001 to critical acclaim, but their 2003 release Cedars is considered the better of their albums by most critics and rightly so. The band creates dreary atmospheres and juxtaposes many unconventional soundscapes.
