Clay (AR)

The band started out in 2006 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is fronted by Juan Pablo Salinas (on the vocals) and Martín Merayois on the bass, while Ezequiel Arias plays the main guitar and Francisco Achával performs on the drums. They were first called"Cassius Clay" but the name was changed to Clay because of legal reasons. Powerful guitar riffs mix perfectly with loud screams,growls and clean vocals in such a way that they give the band an unique touch which makes them different from the rest of thecommon metalcore scene.One of their strongest points to stand out are their live performance, they are able to perform with so much power thateveryone who sees them play will leave the performance as a "Clayer".In 2008 they recorded and produced their first album titled "How Far..." by themselves, later on their second record "No Importalo que Hacemos" was released. Their second album got a lot of praise from their fans and led the band to winning the "BandaRevelación 2011" after months of it's release. Currently the band is working on a new album titled "En El Silencio" which is set tobe released sometime in 2013. « hide
