Was a Mexican rock band, they are pioneers in Mexico of progressive rock together with Decibel. It appeared in 1979 and was dissolved in 1985, and from that date it has been organizing with different members, managing to continue with the project. Currently the leader of the group is Armando Suárez. Chac Mool was one of the few groups that in their music represented the ancient civilizations that inhabited Mexico. His discography is extensive and his albums have been part of collectors and the Mexican avant-garde, currently Chac Mool became a cult group in the present.
