Cerebus was formed in 1984 in Greensboro, North Carolina (USA). After the release of previous demos in 1985, they put out the full-length "Too Late to Pray", a traditional metal album that shows influences from Iron Maiden and other NWOBHM bands. Between 1987 and 1991, they released a couple of EPs and a demo. After that the band disbanded.
