On May 1st, 2012 Blue Funeral will release a new album called A Perfect Year Will Come. Its the most personal and intimate
record Blue Funeral has ever made.With the beautiful cover photo taken by German artist Marina Refur, the album will be
released as a physical product (small book with cd) and digital download.
Blue Funeral started in 2007 and released the first EP Fast Or Slow in 2009. A year later Blue Funeral released the album
Thoughts Of The Damned with songs like Better Off Dead, Love Will Be The Crime and Few Regrets. The album got positive

A year later the album The Darkness Waits For Me came out, with probably Blue Funeral's most well known song Winter
Tears. The single went on to be number one on Radio Dunkle Welle (Germany) for several weeks.
In September 2011 Blue Funeral started to work on the third album. Many songs were written and some of them ended up on
the forthcoming album A Perfect Year Will Come. The new album features eleven new recorded songs, including one bonus
track. This record is the most intimate and personal Blue Funeral record up until now. Some songs only have piano and
vocals. Something Blue Funeral has never done before. Although the first single Sunday Summer Rain may sound familiar,
listeners shouldn't expect a record like Thoughts Of The Damned or The Darkness Waits For Me
