A collaborative effort between anti-folk artist Billy Bragg and alternative country group Wilco, who released two albums in 1998 and
2000. The two albums, entitled Mermaid Avenue and Mermaid Avenue Vol. 2, consisted of American folk hero Woody Guthrie's
lyrics, interpreted and set to music by Bragg & Wilco.
