After debuting as a DJ in late 2011, she performed concerts with Claire Hooper and Karen Gwyer in 2012. The following year, she collaborated with engineer/musician Rupert Clervaux, drummer Charles Hayward, Eben Bull, and Spring Heel Jack's John Coxon and Ashley Wales on a piece called Disarm in conjunction with artist Pedro Reyes at London's Lisson Gallery. The music to this piece was created entirely using instruments made out of decommissioned guns, and the gallery released the recording on vinyl. Dillon then completed a mix for the podcast series Blowing Up the Workshop, as well as a mix of African music titled Folkways II, released by the Trilogy Tapes. « hide |
