Bastard Noise originated as a noise band that was founded in 1991, in Los Angeles, United States by Eric Wood, Henry Barnes, and Bill Nelson. The band was initially a side project of Wood’s and Barnes’s powerviolence band Man Is the Bastard. It now currently carries a sound similar to MITB's signature sludgey powerviolence.
