Aurea's 2011 Tour in promotion of her album has a huge success, as she sold out major national venues. In 2012, Aurea released her 2nd studio album, entitled Soul Notes. It also became an instant success in Portugal, topping Portuguese Albums Chart in only two weeks. Soul Notes' lead single, entitled Scratch My Back, remains one of Aurea's trademark songs. Aurea's style is very diverse, incorporating elements from soul, blues, pop, reggae and R&B. Her sound is often compared to soul legends such as Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross, and she's also compared to contemporaries such as British soul artists Duffy and Amy Winehouse. « hide
