Martin and Malinowski first worked together artistically when Beatrice lent her voice to the track, “Brutal Hearts” on Bedouin Soundclash’s fall 2010 release, Light The Horizon. The song was proclaimed a highlight of the album by critics and the public alike, and this eventually birthed the initial idea of forming Armistice. For their debut EP, the pair enlisted the help of legendary Los Angeles hardcore punk band, The Bronx, hoping to borrow some of the band's mariachi influences to help craft Armistice's planned songs of love and war. « hide |
