Band history:Beginning in early 2010, Apollo has gained recognition for becoming one of the rising artists in Oregon. Starting
in the small town of North Bend, Apollo was publicized in local news papers and played on local radio stations, and now wants
to further their reach on the West Coast. Their inspiration derived mainly from the early post-hardcore music and mixed with
their early roots of jazz, has gained a reputation of being “an original sound”. The music being the main focus of the band
was given a window of experimentation, grounded rhythmically with diverse bass and drums, along with coordinated ambient
guitars and the voices of virtually every member in the band. Aided with the help of their front man Tyler Mansfield, Apollo
self recorded their first album the “Apollo EP", which included six songs, and two instrumentals. After they had built an
aesthetic, coining the Apollo “A” as their symbol, and releasing many self made designs made by Sam Duell(Dead Sea
Design), the band sought the business help of management. Having recently been taken in by Monolith Management the band
hopes that their so far hard work will pay off in their next album that is currently untitled. The new album is, says the band,
“better the anything we have written and will show our true colors”….. « hide |
