Anguis Dei is a symphonic black metal band from Japan. In their own words, the music is based on «Satanism, Demonology and the True Primordial Black Metal tradition». Their sound is heavily influenced by second wave-black metal, and in particular, Norwegian artists that mixed symphonic and avantgarde elements. Anguis Dei is also part of the Tokyo-based, so-called «AAAA Collective»: A group of four black metal-bands whose name start with the letter «A». (Anguis Dei, Ahpdegma, Arkha Sva, and Avsolutized...)
