Formed in 1991 in Sweden, Anglagard was one of many Swedish bands to participate in the revival of progressive rock in the early 1990's, at atime when most of the big names in prog were dead. They released Hybris (1992) and Epilog (1994) before disbanding. They briefly reformedfrom 2002-2003, and again in 2009, where they began recording a new album, Viljans Oga which released in 2012.
