Angelfish

Angelfish was short-lived Scottish alt-rock band, founded in Edinburgh in the early-to mid-90s. The band is best known forfeaturingShirley Manson before she joined Garbage. The band originated as a side project to Goodbye Mr. MacKenzie, ofwhich Manson was aback-up singer and instrumentalist. The band's label sought to have Manson as a solo artist with a fewmusicians from Goodbye Mr.MacKenzie serving as her back- up band. The band released two singles, "Suffocate Me" and "Heartbreak to Hate," in 1993 and 1994, respectively. The music videofor"Suffocate Me" was shown on the MTV programme '120 Minutes,' where it was seen by Steve Marker (Garbage). Mansonwasinvited to be the vocalist of Garbage, which she accepted.
