Actus Reus is a heavy metal band hailing from the northern outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in their guitarist’s basement in 2015, they started by playing cover shows for friends and family. After a while, they decided to get serious and agreed to create original music and get their name out there in the local scene. Their songs contain a multitude of metal genres; thrash, groove, nu-metal, metalcore, and deathcore are all present.. All these sounds meshed together make for a fast-paced, balls-to-the-wall, high-energy live show every time they grace the stage.
